Bass lessons with Aaron:
Before your first lesson, you’ll share your current skill level and talk about what you hope to achieve, and Aaron will design a lesson series to get you there. Some of the topics you might cover include:
Scales and modes
Right hand technique and left hand technique
Timing and rhythm
Soloing
Ear training
Music theory
Reading tab and notation
Creating bass lines
How Online Lessons Work
What do I need?
Stable internet connection
Computer or tablet that has:
Support for video chat
Camera
Microphone
Large enough screen to see the teacher
Which app will we use?
Aaron prefers Google Meet (a free app), but if you have a video chat app that you like, we’ll discuss to see if it’s a suitable choice for lessons.
You’ll get instructions before the first lesson to make sure you’re set up and ready to go.
What else?
At the first lesson, the teacher will assess your skill level, and may recommend a specific book to work from or additional resources.
